Your Passport

Check nationality, passport type, validity, and whether your policy is unilateral, mutual, or transit-based.

Your Purpose

Tourism, business, family visits, exchanges, and transit may qualify. Work and study require the appropriate visa.

Your Route

For transit, the arrival point, onward destination, ticket timing, and permitted stay area must work together.

Prepare Before Ticketing

  • Passport: use the same valid travel document throughout the booking.
  • Travel proof: keep accommodation and return or onward transport details available.
  • Final check: confirm the latest rule with the National Immigration Administration or a Chinese embassy.
Check the official NIA guidance
